Okuyama Houkouji Temple in Autumn Night
Last Saturday night, I had a wonderful time at Okuyama Houkouji Temple in Hamamatsu. The temple looked so magical with autumn colors at night. When I arrived, I saw the temple buildings with trees still full of green leaves, but some already turned red, orange, and yellow. Some lanterns and lights made the leaves glow. It felt like I was in a fairy tale. I walked through the paths and heard the leaves rustling and other visitors talking softly. Every step showed me new beautiful views of the temple and the trees. In autumn, Okuyama Houkouji Temple becomes a magical place. From late November to early December, the temple has a special Light-Up Event. Beautiful lanterns light up the temple grounds, making the colorful autumn leaves even more beautiful. Okuyama Houkouji Temple is in the quiet countryside of Hamamatsu.
