Hamamatsu Festival Pavilion

Before the pandemic, every year during the Golden Week holiday, for 3 days in a row (May 3rd, 4th, 5th) Hamamatsu Matsuri (Festival) is being held. During the pandemic, it was canceled or closed to the public. Fortunately, this year they decided to hold the Hamamatsu kite festival with some outline of the event is slightly changed. Daytime kite flying will be held from May 3rd to 5th from 10AM to 3PM, however, drinking alcohol and thread cutting battles are prohibited. Last year, trumpets and other sounds and musical accompaniment were prohibited, but this year will be allowed in the daytime and only at the kite-flying venue. The night-time palace stalls will not be held in the Hamamatsu downtown area, but it seems that it can be done based on the judgment of the residents' association in each neighborhood.
