Sumatakyo yume no tsuri bashi 寸又峡夢の吊り橋

Another tourist spot not so far from Hamamatsu, is Sumatakyo yume no tsuribashi which means Dream suspension bridge. It is located in  Kawanehoncho, Haibara District, Shizuoka . It takes about   2,5 hours drive from Hamamatsu  to reach Sumatakyo onsen and followed by 2 km walk to the bridge. SUMMER is BBQ time by the Tenryugawa river

SUMMER is finally here and soon we'll have a summer break. Because of the Covid19 pandemic, travelling is still not recommended. But don't worry, there are lots of places around Hamamatsu where you can enjoy summer activities like camping, barbecue and playing in the river with your friends and family. One of my favorite and recommended place is Atago River in Tenryugawa. In the summer, there are many people setting up tent and tarps along side Atago river. People would enjoy grilling and eating barbecue meat, and swim in the clear water river.  The place can get really crowded, you should come early in the morning to get a good place. It's a first come first serve, no reservation.    There are various riverside BBQ management shops, they sell coals for BBQ, floats for kids to play in the river, and they charge for parking space 700-1000 yen per car.
